I'm Valerie (or Val for short). I've lived in Wisconsin my entire life, though I've called different parts home - from the Lake Michigan coast to the bluffs of La Crosse. Madison has been the latest home base and will be for a while. There's something about the calm, understated beauty of the Midwest that keeps me here. I love a summer day spent lounging lakeside just as much as a winter day spent cozying-up fireside. Plus, with family nearby, it's definitely the place that feels most like home.
