About the Event
This wedding will forever be a favorite! Megan from Madison hit it off with Taylor from Scotland at a mutual friend’s wedding. They started a long-distance relationship and lasted over a year apart (hello global pandemic). They made it through stronger than ever, reunited, adopted the cutest golden retriever puppy, and then kicked off their happily ever! Taylor paid homage to his Scottish background with his wedding day attire and they had fun elements like a bagpiper. These two shared private vows with the Wisconsin State Capitol as their backdrop. They followed that by tying the knot with a lakeside ceremony at Monona Terrace. Then, they ended the day with a reception at the Madison Club. An iconic Madison wedding? Yes, yes, yes!

Why You’ll Love It
The Madison Club is one of my FAVORITE Madison venues. I love the quirkiness and fun design of each room. From eclectic wallpapers to cozy nooks, there’s something absolutely delightful in every corner. I feel like I could photograph 100 weddings here and still do something fun and new with the space. You’ll also love all the extra rooms for versatility! They have spaces that you could use for getting ready, your ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner – all without flipping a room. To top it off, it’s a prime location. There are tons of hotels within walking distance, and the Capitol is just a short walk up the hill for photo opps. What. A. Dream.
